Meghalaya | Man hangs self from body of truck

A man hung himself on the body of a truck in West Khasi Hills on Saturday.
The man has been identified as Probhat Das, 55, of Hajo village, Kamrup Assam, who was residing at Songsak Shallang in Mawshynrut Tehsil in the same district.
The incident took place at around 3 pm on Saturday, police said. They added that the deceased was an alcoholic and a drug addict.
The body was handed over to his wife after post mortem at Shallang Primary Health Centre (PHC).
