Meghalaya: Exams, concerts stand postponed due to prevailing situation in Shillong

As Shillong is slowly limping back to normalcy, the night curfew still remains in force in the entire city as a precautionary measure, though, the curfew relaxation has been increased from 5 to 7 hours in the disturbed areas of Shillong as of June 7.
In view of the curfew, many exams, programmes and concerts scheduled to be held this week stand postponed.
Earlier, the North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) had announced that the PG exams scheduled to be held from June 6-8 has been postponed. In continuation to the earlier notification on the postponement of Post Graduate Examinations due to the prevailing situation, NEHU has informed that the Post Graduate examinations scheduled for June 9, 2018 shall also stand postponed till further notice.

Similarly, the Loreto Alumnae Association Shillong has announced that GLEE Nite scheduled to be held on June 9 at U Soso Tham Auditorium, stand postponed. New date will be announced subsequently.
