Meghalaya: 19-month-old child drowns in a well in Jaintia Hills

A 19-month-old child was reported to have drowned in a well located near his mother's residence in Chamcham village in East Jaintia Hills on Thursday.
The child has been identified as Moral Kyndait. Following his fall, the mother and her family members immediately rushed the child to Ialong District Civil Hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead.
Sources stated that the child was playing outdoors when he went close to the well and drowned.
