Assam: Man from Manipur held with drugs in Guwahati

GUWAHATI, July 26, 2018: In a joint operation, Garchuk police along with ISBT police apprehended one Aamir Khan (32) with 1000 methamphetamine tablets.
32-year-old, Aamir Khan is a resident of Manipur and was running the drugs business for some time. The value of the haul is estimated to be Rs. 2 lakh.

According to the police, Aamir was carrying WY (Y Ba) tablets from Myanmar to Guwahati for selling purpose. Acting on a tip-off, a team led by ACP Pranjal Bora seized the courier.
Each tablet is sold in the retail market for Rs. 200-300.
