Assam: Heat-stroke kills one at Maligaon

GUWAHATI, July 21, 2018: After devastating monsoon in Assam, the citizens are now facing extreme heat resulting in sweat and death. In one such instance that took place in the city, a dead body of an unidentified man was found at Maligaon Chariali on Friday.

According to the initial investigation by Jalukbari Police, the man, who is suspected to be around 45 years of age, has allegedly died due to heat stroke.

The body of the deceased has been sent to GMCH for post-mortem and will be kept for 72 hours.
