Assam | Guwahati Municipal Corporation seals Adityam building in Ullubari

GUWAHATI | September 4, 2018:

The Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) has sealed the building under the name Adityam building located in Barthakur Mill roda, Ullubari.

The complex houses has popular eateries like KFC, Oriental Bistro, and Barbeque Nation.

The notice states, 'On examination of the Occupancy Certificate and as-built Plan accompanying the occupancy certificate, it has been found that the approved use of the building is 'Departmental store', whereas the present use of the building is found to restaurant, bar, and office in deviation of approved use.'

In view of the above and as per 337 (A) (1) of GMC Act 1971, the building has been sealed.
