Assam APSC Scam: Bail granted to daughter of BJP MP

GUWAHATI, August 1, 2018: APSC scam accused Pallavi Sharma, daughter of BJP Lok Sabha MP, RP Sharma, on Wednesday has been granted bail by the court as per media report.

On July 19 official including Pallavi Sharma were summoned and were made to sit for a handwriting test where they failed to match their handwriting in the APSC examination.

According to the media reports, Pallavi has been granted bail for twenty days due to her father's poor health condition. The next hearing on the matter will be on August 20.

Pallavi is presently lodged at the Guwahati Central Jail.

As per media reports, MP Sharma had undergone a kidney transplant on Tuesday and his health has deteriorated.
