Tripura: ATTF returnees to place “charter of demands” before CM, Guv and Union HM


AGARTALA | Aug 25, 2019:

The members of the Tripura United Indigenous Peoples' Council (TUIPC), returnees from All Tripura Tiger Force (ATTF) and other extremist groups have decided to place their chartered of demands before the Chief Minister, governor and Union Home Minister.

This decision was made known during a press conference held at Agartala press club here today.

Speaking with reporters, Advisor of TUIPC, Ranjit Debbarma said, a meeting has been called here to discuss on the next course of action which needs to be taken for the fulfillment of the demands made by the returnees with the government while signing the surrender agreement.

"Around 250 cases registered against the returnees and more 450 cases are still pending in different police stations across the state. We have also placed memorandums across 33 blocks of the state for to withdraw the cases against our members", Debbarma said.
