Sikkim | Demand for National Register of Citizens raised in state

Sikkimese demand National Register of Citizens to be implemented in Sikkim.
All the Sikkimese residing in State have Indian Citizenship since 1975. Due to concern over security of future generations' Citizenship, Tshering Wangchulk Lepcha, the Coordinator of the Nationalist Sikkim United Organization (NSUO) has submitted a memorandum to Prime Minister Narendra Modi,requesting implementation of the NRC.
NSUO have also asked for introduction of Inner Line permit,checking influx.
Nationalists Sikkim United Organization has also written to Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh asking for NRC to be used in state.
