COVID-19: 12 new cases reported in Sikkim


GANGTOK | JULY 3, 2020:

Twelve more people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Sikkim, taking the total number of cases in the state to 101.

All 12 cases are reported to be the Army personnel who were the primary contacts of the 89th patient who was tested positive for Covid-19 on June 30.

It was reported that out of 19 primary contacts of the 89th patient, 12 tested positive. Meanwhile, contact tracing of all secondary contacts is in the process.

All the 13 positive persons, along with the remaining 6 primary contacts, have been shifted to the Army Hospital, Bagdogra, which is a dedicated Hospital for Covid-19 for Army personnel.
