Read Nagaland’s new SOP for returnees

Nagaland government has issued new Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), for returnees entering the state that food provided in quarantine centres will be charged from the inmates from Monday onwards.
Dimapur Deputy Commissioner (DC), Rajesh Soundararajan, said that Rs 350 per person per day at the institutional quarantine centres.
The DC had also informed that the charges include Rs 40 for breakfast, Rs 130 for lunch, Rs 130 for dinner, Rs 20 for water, and Rs 30 for logistic expenses, (packing, fuel, delivery cost).
Kohima District Task Force (DTF), said that all returnees to the District will be charged at Rs 300 per day for lunch and dinner.
While, Tuensang District Task Force, has decided to charge Rs 2500 as a fooding fee for seven days of the institutional quarantine period.
Meanwhile, any returnee who has entered the State and commenced quarantining before August 10 will continue to be guided by the provisions of the earlier SOPs issued on June 1, and June 7, 2020.
Returnees entering the state from Monday will have to undergo mandatory institutional quarantine for seven days, followed by 14 days of home quarantine.
