Nagaland reports new COVID-19 cases


KOHIMA | AUGUST 28, 2020:

The Health Minister of Nagaland, S Pangnyu Phom, reported that out of 351 new samples, 21 individuals tested positive of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

Out of 21, 10 in Kohima, seven in Dimapur, two in Zunheboto, one in Wokha and one in Mon district.

"Necessary contact tracing has been activated by our IDSP team," mentioned the minister.

So far the total tally of positive cases in the state stands at 3805, with 1052 active, 2735 cured and eight deaths.
