Nagaland reports new cases of COVID-19
KOHIMA | AUGUST 24, 2020:
The Health Minister of Nagaland, S Pangnyu Phom, tweeted that out of 587 new samples, 28 individuals tested positive of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
Out of the 28 new positive cases, 24 are in Kohima, two in Dimapur and one each in Longleng and Zunheboto district.
Also, there were 102 recoveries (85 from Dimapur and 17 from Kohima) in the state, said the minister.
To date, the total tally of positive cases in the state stands at 3714 with 2268 recoveries, 1402 active cases and seven deaths.
