Nagaland police nab three persons, rescue two abductees in a separate incident

KOHIMA:

Nagaland police arrested three persons and rescued two others in a separate incident in the last four days.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) and PRO Dimapur police said on March 16 they arrested an individual identified as Dilip Basumatary for illegal transportation of Indian Made Foreign Liquor, (IMFL) in an Alto car.

The police seized 17 IMFL cases from his possession.

On Monday the police arrested two individuals identified as Kughato Swu and Inaka Achumi while extorting money from the business establishment at the 4th Mile area in the name of an underground group.

In another case on March 13, Police along with Assam Rifles rescued two persons- a truck driver and an employee of a private transport agency from Thilixu village area after unknown persons from Purana Bazar area, Dimapur reportedly abducted them.
