Nagaland | Govt signs MoU to set up disease-control centre in the state
KOHIMA, December 7, 2018: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Thursday between the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Government of Nagaland here.
The MoU was signed to set up National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in Nagaland.
The MoU was signed by Lav Agarwal, Joint Secretary, on behalf of the UnionMinistry of Health & Family Welfare and I. Himato Zhimomi, Principal Secretary of Health & Family Welfare on behalf of Nagaland in presence of Preeti Sudan, Secretary to the Government of India, MoH&FW.
Addressing the officials present during the occasion, Preeti Sudan congratulated the Nagaland Department of Health and Family Welfare on the impressive performance of the State on successful Measles Rubella Vaccination Campaign (MRVC).
