Nagaland: Cricket vs COVID! Dimapur Police’s witty tweet goes viral

DIMAPUR | AUG 16, 2020:

When one talks about hilarious and cheeky tweets, one automatically relates to Assam police or Meghalaya police' tweets. But it seems like the Dimapur police (Nagaland) has also been bitten by the same witty bug.

Sharing information in a lighter and humourous way, the Dimapur police took to Twitter to remind the people of the ongoing battle against COVID-19 by referring to the number "7" as their punch line — 7 hours relaxation and Jersey number 7 of MS Dhoni.

While informing the public about the relaxation in lockdown measures, Dimapur police wrote, "The time duration for your shopping from tomorrow has been increased to Seven Hours. Even though the legendary 7 number jersey cricketer MS Dhoni has retired from international cricket, please remember the match against Covid is still on."
