Mount Tiyi in Nagaland: The mountain of life
Mount Tiyi is a famous trekking destination and located in Wokha at a height of around 1969 metres above sea level is much loved by adventure tourists.
Mount Tiyi is also referred as, "the mountain of life" and supernatural legends are associated with it. According to local Lotha folklore, the mountain had an orchard that could only be found by the 'lucky ones.'
Rhododendrons are common on Mount Tiyi and the best time to visit Mount Tiyi is in between the months of October and February.
