Northeast leaders condole demise of veteran politician Sushma Swaraj


NORTHEAST INDIA | August 7, 2019:

Senior BJP leader and former foreign minister Sushma Swaraj passed away at AIIMS on Tuesday after suffering cardiac arrest. She was 67.

The BJP veteran was the first woman external affairs minister of India.

Her untimely demise led to an outpour of emotions on social media as members of the sports fraternity expressed shock and grief and recalled the moments when they got to interact with her.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister PS Tamang has also expressed deep condolence over demise of former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.
