Northeast India gets its largest sewage treatment plant (STP)!

AGARTALA, March 4: Chief minister Manik Sarkar on Thursday commissioned the northeast's biggest sewage treatment plant (STP) in Agartala.
The STP has connected more than 2,300 individual toilets and household sewage outlets and can connect at least 3,000 more houses in the northern part of the city. It was built by the NBCC at an investment cost of Rs 82.12 crore and sponsored by the Centre.
