Mizoram reports lowest daily COVID-19 tally since June 15
Mizoram on Monday reported 131 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, the lowest single-day infections since June 15, taking the COVID tally to 19,455.
Out of 131 new cases, 130 were confirmed during Rapid Antigen Test, while one was confirmed through the TrueNAT test.
The district of Aizawl reported 124, Lunglei and Kolasib reported three each, and Mamit reported one case.
A total of 15,040 people have recovered from the infection, including 177 people on Sunday, a health official informed.
Mizoram currently has 4,324 active cases, while the state's positivity rate stands at 21.54%.
So far, Mizoram has tested over 4.77 lakh samples for COVID-19, and more than 4.9 lakh people have been vaccinated.
