BREAKING: Meghalaya’s Elusive Phantom alias ‘Bah Jyllud’ escapes police custody

SHILLONG | March 06, 2019: What could be termed as a lapse in security arrangement, Meghalaya's infamous 'massage man' (Bah Jyllud), David Lyngdoh, escaped police custody whilst being kept in the office of the Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills to be produced before the session court in Shillong today.

It was informed that Lyngdoh escaped at around 12 noon.

The elusive Bah Jyllud was arrested two years back in Shillong for several offences committed over the years which included theft and molestation.

He was brought from Nongpoh to Shillong to appear before the session court today. While being kept in police custody at DC office, he managed to escape giving the district police a tought time to track his whereabouts.

It may be mentioned that this is not the first time that Bah Jyllud has escaped police custody. Few years back, while being taken to Shillong Civil Hospital for check up, he tricked the personnel and escaped.

He was credited to be either one of the most stupid or most daring criminals. He was also alleged of entering a police precinct to steal his motorbike which was earlier seized by the police.
