Vaccination and COVID-19 negative test report mandatory for meeting CM of Manipur

According to the memorandum, the individuals or groups who want to meet the CM will be required to seek prior permission from the respective authorities and also follow covid appropriate behaviour.

Visitors who are seeking to meet Chief Minister N. Biren Singh will now have to fulfil certain criteria, said a new memorandum issued by the Secretary to the Chief Minister of Manipur, Ningthoujam Geoffrey.

According to the memorandum, the individuals or groups who want to meet the CM will be required to seek prior permission from the respective authorities and also follow covid appropriate behaviour.

Further, visitors seeking an audience with the Chief Minister are advised to get themselves vaccinated and proof of such vaccination may be provided to the CM's office, the circular stated.

Besides, visitors who have been granted an appointment to meet the CM will be required to submit a negative COVID-19 test report taken within the last 72 hours before the date of appointment.

And in case, an appointment is sought for a group of persons, the size of such group shall preferably be restricted to three (3) or such a lesser number of persons, the circular stated.
