This is how people in Bodoland Territorial Council areas welcome tripartite peace treaty

GUWAHATI | January 28, 2020:
In Assam, people mostly in the Bodoland Territorial Council areas welcomed the tripartite peace treaty. Bodo people congratulated each other and distributed sweets after the signing of the treaty.
Welcoming the accord, the Bodo people celebrated the occasion by dancing, bursting of crackers in Kokrajhar and other parts of the BTAD area.
In Kokrajhar, men, women and youth of Bodo tribal community celebrated by dancing the traditional Bagurumba dance.
A jubilant crowd started celebration at Bodofa House yesterday in Kokrajhar district soon after the accord was signed.
