Mysterious disease reported in Kaziranga park?
GUWAHATI | AUGUST 17, 2020:
A total of sixteen domestic cattle species have reportedly died in Assam, showing clinical signs of Rabies during the past 20 days in and around the Kaziranga national park.
Park authority said that thirteen deaths were reported at the Rangajaan area while one at Mihimukh and two at the Peelkhana area. In order to prevent further death, the park authorities are taking precautionary measures.
Today the vaccination of elephants was done at Kaziranga Range and in the coming days, the rest of the pachyderms will be vaccinated.
