Assam’s young and bold break new ground on renewable energy



A young and dynamic Mechanical Project Manager received an outstanding achievement for his renewable energy projects by the Indian Achievers Award, 2020.

Hailing from Guwahati, Assam, Dr. Nripanka Das is part of a distinguished renewable German Engineering Company; working on generating affordable and clean-energy through biomass energy, targeting goals of achieving clean water, sanitation to promote good health and well-being.

He has also contributed to building micro-grid technology that integrates bio-waste, solar, and storage to provide an economically reliable supply of energy anywhere in the world.

In addition to that, Dr. Das has helped develop a sustainable, modular, and mobile-power unit, fitted in a container of 20 ft, integrated with solar/storage to create a completely decentralized power grid that is cheaper, reliable, and eco-friendly.

He has been testing diverse waste fuels (biomass fuels) and currently implementing clean energy projects in India, Indonesia, and Africa.

Dr. Nripanka Das is the youngest to receive an Honorary Doctorate from the United States of America in Innovation and Environmental Sustainability (Assam).
