Assam: After 22 years, family reunites with son in Pandu
GUWAHATI, January 3, 2017: A family ushered glee in the new year with some remarkable news in Pandu, Guwahati and made a New Year memory that they would cherish for the years to come.
A family living in Pandu reunited on the first of January with their long lost son Amar Sarkar, 22 years who was reported missing. Amar reportedly went missing about 22years ago from Pandu No. 3 Colony
As per reports, Amar was diagnosed with a mental condition after which he also suffered memory loss. He landed up in Mumbai where he was treated by an NGO until he was stable. The news of Amar's disappearance also led to the demise of his father. His disappearance was covered by several media houses, but to no avail.
The lonhg lost has now been reunited with his family. Amar's mother is extremely happy to have him back and was handed over to his family on Monday by an SRF Jawan.
However, more details awaited and the investigation is still going on as Amar can only recall that he was admitted in some hospital.
