Assam: 60 more test positive for Covid-19; Total tally at 1621

GUWAHATI | JUNE 03, 2020:

In Assam, at least sixty people have been tested positive for Covid-19 on Wednesday, taking the state tally to 1621.

Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that sixty Covid-19 cases have been reported in the state today, out of which 38 cases were reported from Dhubri, 18 from Golaghat and 4 from Nagaon.

The Minister tweeted;

However, forty-eight people were also tested positive for Covid-19 earlier today, out of 48 cases, 13 from Biswanath, 9 from West Karbi Anglong, 7 from Karimgan, 5 from Sivasagar, 4 from Hojai and 1 from Cachar.

Meanwhile, the total tally in the state is 1621 with 337 discharged and 04 deaths, so active cases is 1277.
