AITC ‘moves’ in Arunachal: Businessman denies any role

The Human Resource team of Abhinna Investments Private Limited has clarified that Arun Saraf, who is the promoter of the company, is not campaigning in Itanagar with a view to bring over Congress and BJP leaders to the All India Trinamool Congress.

A statement issued on November 30, in response to a report in this regard in The Northeast Today (TNT) on November 29, said Saraf was not affiliated to any political party.

“In a recent news article published by The Northeast Today on 29 November 2021, it is stated that Mr. Arun Saraf is campaigning in Itanagar and meeting leaders of both the BJP and Congress to lure them into a strategic shift to the AITC. All the statements made about Mr. Arun Saraf in the news article are denied in totality as false, frivolous and misleading. Mr. Arun Saraf is a reputable businessman with no political affiliations. Mr. Saraf has conducted no meetings with either the leaders of BJP or Congress. The statements being made about Mr. Saraf are entirely unfounded and uncorroborated. Mr. Saraf shares no association with any political parties or any political activities,” said the statement.
