Indian Super League kicks off tomorrow

ATK- Mohun Bagan will face Kerala Blasters at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Goa on November 19 at 7:30 p.m, while NorthEast United FC (NEUFC) will face Bengaluru FC the next day. All the games are scheduled to take place without fans in stadiums.

The eighth season of the Indian Super League (ISL) will begin on November 19 in Goa. 

This season, the celebrated football league will feature a late 9:30 p.m. kickoff for its weekend doubleheaders. The regular weekday roster stays the same, with matches beginning at 7:30 p.m.

ATK- Mohun Bagan will face Kerala Blasters at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Goa on November 19 at 7:30 p.m, while NorthEast United FC (NEUFC) will face Bengaluru FC the next day. All the games are scheduled to take place without fans in stadiums. 

The Highlanders had finished third with 33 points, in the previous season.
Mumbai City are the reigning champions, having defeated Kolkata giants ATK Mohun Bagan in the final, last season and will look to replicate the same performance this season.

In just seven years since its inception in 2014, the Indian Super League (ISL) has revolutionised the Indian football scenario.

Currently, the Indian Super League is an eleven-team affair, with representation from NorthEast United FC, Odisha FC, Chennaiyin FC, FC Goa, Kerala Blasters FC, SC East Bengal, ATK Mohun Bagan, Hyderabad FC, Mumbai City FC, Jamshedpur FC, and Bengaluru FC.

The ISL has been able to rekindle the enthusiasm for football across India, and gives budding footballers an opportunity to excel in the game.
