Indian Cricket team arrive in London for WTC final

The Indian cricket team is all geared up for the upcoming World Test Championship (WTC) final and arrived here in England on Thursday for the championship title.

India will play against New Zealand in the final of the WTC at Ageas Bowl, Southampton beginning June 18, 2021.

After the WTC final, the Indian squad will gear up for the five-match test series against England which begins on August 4.

The BCCI had on May 7, 2021, announced the squad for the WTC final and the five-match Test series against England.

Indian squad: Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Mayank Agarwal, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli (Captain), Ajinkya Rahane (vice-captain), Hanuma Vihari, Rishabh Pant (wicket-keeper), R. Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Jasprit Bumrah, Ishant Sharma, Mohd. Shami, Md. Siraj, Shardul Thakur, Umesh Yadav, KL Rahul (subject to fitness clearance), Wriddhiman Saha (wicket-keeper; subject to fitness clearance). 

Standby players: Abhimanyu Easwaran, Prasidh Krishna, Avesh Khan, Arzan Nagwaswalla
