SPARROW AND THE RAIN

Two Sparrows flirt their way out in the rain,

They snuggle and beckon, away from the pain;

Washing their feathers which is no longer fluffy,

Pracariously perched in the slippery strand

But they enjoy every raindrop falling onto their body.

One little feet move closer, while the other move away

Shy as she is, she quietly flies away.

He awaits on the strand, desolete and lonely

The rain has also stopped and the moment has gone.

While he laments of her departure

There’s another beautiful friend who has come to stay

He makes his move and so again-

2 sparrows flirt their way out in the rain,

They snuggle and beckon, away from the pain;
