Opposition stage walk-out in Lok Sabha against efforts to form BJP's govts in Manipur & Goa

 NEW DELHI, March 14 2017: The Lok Sabha remained disrupted on Tuesday as the Congress moved an adjournment motion in the house, trying to highlight the government formation in Goa and Manipur.

The Congress accused the BJP of acting against the law and attempting to form governments in states where Congress was the largest party.

In the Lok Sabha today, Congress MPs and its allies staged a walkout while Ripun Bora (Congress RS MP from Assam) accused the BJP of hijacking 5-6 Congress MLAs and taking them to Guwahati. He said that the BJP had been involved in horse trading.

The session of the parliament is expected to finally pass the Goods and Sevice Tax bill.
