The Coordination Committee, a conglomerate of proscribed underground outfits accused the India’s hand behind the abduction and killing of village chief Otkhomang Mate and church leader Tilpao Haokip on January 6 at Nungkham Satam village.
A release of the publicity committee of the group said that the Indian State has been trying to divide the indigenous peoples of the land by various means. Such heinous design to spread hatred among the communities is an old tactics of the Indian State, it said.
Further it said that following the incident, no organisation has claim responsibility behind the killing of the village chief of N Gamnom and the church leader of the same village, located near the Indo-Myanmar border under Tengnoupal district.
The release reminded all underground outfits operating in the state to be aware of the divisive policies of the Indian State.
