5.4 magnitude quake jolts Northeast India 



A 5.4 magnitude earthquake jolted the Northeastern region on Monday around 8.49 pm, officials from the National Center for Seismology (NCS) said. 

The epicentre of the earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter Scale has been traced along the Indo-Nepal border in Sikkim. 

The latitude of the quake, with its depth of 10 km, is  27.1776 and its longitude at 88.9610.
