Tripura Congress rules out possibility of alliance with CPI(M) ahead of LS polls

As political parties eagerly await the announcement of dates for the Lok Sabha elections, putting an end to all rumours, the Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee spokesperson has clarified that there is no chance of alliance between Tripura Congress and the CPI(M) ahead of the polls.

It must be mentioned that after CPI(M) MP from East Tripura (ST) seat and former minister Jiten Chowdhury was seen meeting the newly appointed TPCC president Pradyot Manikya, rumours were rife that the parties might form an alliance but the possibility of the same was ruled out.
