Nagaland: NSCM-IM meeting deliberates on the current status of Indo-Naga political solution

KOHIMA | SEPT 18, 2020:

A joint council meeting of the NSCN-IM was held at CHQ Hebron on Friday. The meeting aimed to discuss the historical and political rights of the Naga people, in addition to how far the Indo-Naga political talks have reached.

During the meeting, the house unanimously adopted the resolution to reiterate the stand of the NSCN to include the Naga national flag and the Yehzabo or the Naga constitution in the Indo-Naga political solution.

The house also resolved that the Government of India and NSCN must seek a final agreement based on the historic Framework Agreement of August 3, 2015.
