Nagaland: DNSU destroyed seized tobacco products worth Rs 1.2 lakh

KOHIMA | December 22, 2019:
The Dimapur Naga Students' Union(DNSU) on Saturday destroyed seized tobacco and other related products worth around 1.5 lakh rupees.
The seizure was made during the raid carried out jointly by DNSU and District Anti-Tobacco squad within a period of three months.

Meanwhile, DNSU has urged upon the village and colony leaders to extend support in enforcing Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act, 2003.
DNSU, also reminded the shop owners to adhere to the directives or to face dire consequences as prescribed by law.
