Meghalaya: JACM takes out rally demanding justice for murdered homeguard personnel

SHILLONG | May 09, 2019:
The Joint Action Committee Mawlai (JACM) today organised a black flag protest rally from Mawlai Nongkwar to Mawlai Mawroh playground to demand for immediate arrest of people involved in the murder of home guard Dismarlin Lyngdoh Lyngkhoi at FCI godown at Khanapara on April 24.
Hundreds of people including students took part in the rally by carrying placards and posters and shouting slogans demanding justice for late Dismarling Lyngdoh Lyngkhoi.
Meanwhile, the JACM has demanded immediate arrest of the four truck drivers besides compensation and providing job to one of the family members of late Dismarlin.
