12 Congress MLAs resign from organisational posts in Manipur

Congress leaders including 12 MLAs holding various organisational posts have submitted their resignation letters to Congress president Gaikhangam.
The Congress MLAs addressing the media at the party head office here today said they want to work for the party at the grass root level and strengthen the party.
The 12 MLAs include Govindas Konthoujam, K Ranjit Singh, N Loken Singh, Md Nasir, DD Thaisii, Kh Joykisan, Fajur Rahim, RK Imo Singh, K Meghachandra Singh, Chaltolian Amo, Alfred K Arthur and D Korungthang.
Congress lost both the Lok Sabha seats in the Lok Sabha elections. They further said they believe in the ideology of Congress. They hinted at a desire to overhaul the organisational setup.
