ITANAGAR, February 7, 2018: Delhi-based IAS coaching institute, ALS and NGO Helping Hands have sanctioned an amount of Rs 2.2 crore for the year 2018-19 under their corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative for UPSC coaching scholarships for poor and bright graduates of the Northeast region.
This was informed by Robin Hibu, IPS officer under whose initiatives the NGO was formed.
The North East graduates in any discipline from recognized universities may submit their applications and details for the UPSC coaching scholarship within 27 February in the email address: helpinghands2016th @gmail.com
Special category graduates need to submit orphan certificates, disabled certificates, martyr certificates of father or mother, and certificates of achievements in national level sports events.
The team of Helping Hands members will be selecting the UPSC coaching aspirants for scholarship on merit and any aspirant with a police case or facing trial in any court will not be considered for the scholarship.
