Meghalaya: NPP flag flies high in Ranikor as Congress members resign en-mass

TNT News | Ranikor, June 12, 2018:
The Congress flag was taken down in Ranikor and the NPP flag was hoisted in its stead as Congress supporters in this constituency resigned en-mass from the party to join the Conrad Sangma-led National People's Party.
This decision was taken during the visit of Chief Minister Conrad Sangma to Ranikor on Tuesday where he was welcomed by sitting Congress MLA Martin M Danggo. Danggo also submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister asking him to fulfil the demand of creation of Civil Sub-Division at Ranikor in South West Khasi Hills at a public meeting here today.
