Lafarge Umiam Mining Private Limited (LUMPL) has donated two numbers of High-Flow Oxygen Equipment to the Government of Meghalaya to fight the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic in the state.

Assam's Information and Public Relations (IPR) Minister Pijush Hazarika announced that the monthly pension amount of the journalists' pension scheme was revised from Rs. 8,000 to Rs. 10,000, coupled with a one-time financial assistance to the journalists' kin, which will be provided in case of death on the job.
