1. Meghalaya: Escaped under-trial prisoner lands in police net again

A 21-year-old Under-Trial Prisoner (UTP), Johnstar R Sangma was arrested by the police from Tura in West Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya, six days after he escaped.

2. Meghalaya: KHADC delegation inspects uranium site at Nongbah Jynrin, to send report to govt

A delegation of leaders from the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) under the leadership of the Deputy Chief Executive Member (Dy. CEM), Gigur Myrthong, visited the uranium site at Nongbah Jynrin in South West Khasi Hills to probe the alleged leakages of the tanks containing uranium effluents.
