Tripura: MoU between TFA &IFA

AGARTALA: With a view of developing the infrastructure of Tripura's football, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Tripura Football Association (TFA) and Indian Football Association (IFA). Pursuant to this understanding, IFA will train different sections of Tripura's footballers with two coaches for a year and apart from this, a group of under 14 footballers of Tripura would go to Kolkata for playing some matches.

As a gesture of goodwill, footballers from Bengal would visit Tripura for taking part in some matches. TFA Secretary Dipen Ghosh stated that consistent efforts in this way would make the best of players, he said, "A group of female footballers too would be sent to Kolkata at the same time, female footballers would come to Tripura for exhibiting their talent including exchanging of referees for further training."
