Increasing kidney and cancer patients in Sikkim a big concern: CM Golay

GANGTOK

Chief Minister PS Golay expressed concern over the increasing number of kidney and cancer patients in the state while addressing a function at Soreng on Friday.

Golay informed the cancer hospital is being established at Karfectar, Jorethang South Sikkim with world-class infrastructure.

Further, he also mentioned about the enhancement of old-age pension and also assured to provide full infrastructure to Chakung Science College, which will fall under the centre of excellence.

The Chief Minister also mentioned the production incentives for those who produce more agricultural products. He also informed the Chief Minister Merit Scholarship for students up to graduation level.

He also stressed on internet facilities within Sikkim with an independent BSNL administrative centre, which covers every centre.
