Nagaland by-polls: Campaign at Pungro-Kiphire Assembly Constituency gains traction

Minister for Planning & Coordination, Land Revenue & Parliamentary Affairs, Neiba Kronu assured and pledged that the ruling government shall do all it takes to help and assist the People’s Democratic Alliance (PDA) consensus candidate, Lirimong Sangtam to represent the 60 Pungro-Kiphire Assembly constituency in the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly.

Kronu said this while addressing a public meeting at Anatonger Village called upon the people of the district not to miss the golden opportunity while it is being handed over to them as PDA’s official candidate; adding that the ruling government needs young and smart leaders to usher development in the area as Kiphire is the ‘Aspirational district’ where lots of natural resources and minerals can be explored and tapped for the benefit of the district.

He also stated that the people of Kiphire shall reap maximum benefit, only if they have a good leader who can truly love and serve them with conviction, asserting that Lirimong Sangtam is the complete package.

Kronu also gave a clarion call to one and all, from the ruling party Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) to come together and work unanimously to elect its consensus candidate.
