Nagaland: All set to host Union Ministers public outreach programme

Dimapur: According to reports given, the BJP-led NDA government is all set to celebrate its completion of two years with a month-long 'Vikas Parv' a public outreach programme that seeks to connect NDA leaders and people with the slogan 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' (Together with all, Development for all).

It is said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a public speech at Saharanpur, (UP) telecast on May 26 and it was here that the  programme was launched. Several Union Ministers and senior BJP National party leaders have been grouped into teams to visit every States and Union Territories during the period.

In a press note release by Jaangsillung Gonmei, General Secretary (Media), BJP Nagaland informed that, "Nagaland will be hosting two teams of Union Ministers' entourage at Kohima and Dimapur."

Accordingly it is said that on June 2, D.V. Sadananda Gowda, Minister of Law & Justice, Nihalchand, Minister of State Panchayati Raj and Vinay Sahasrabudhe National BJP Vice President, are scheduled to arrive and will address public meeting at the IG Stadium, Wokha Road, Kohima at 2.30 pm.

On June 9, Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of Development of NER (DONER) (IC), PMO personnel, Public Grievances & Pension, Dept of Atomic Energy, Dept of Space, Maj. Gen. Khanduri (former chief minister), Dr. Anil Jain, National BJP General Secretary, / Shahnawaz Hussain BJP Spokesperson is scheduled to arrive for public meeting at Agri. Expo (Tentative), DImapur.

Jaangsillung Gonmei said the BJP Nagaland and DAN will jointly host the visits and events. All the BJP Nagaland party officials and members of various levels and frontals have been informed to attend the meetings positively on the stipulated dates.
