Meghalaya: Businessman attacked in Dalu

A businessman cum contractor, Niku Saha, a resident of Dalu in West Garo Hills (WGH) was allegedly attacked by a gang of three people.

The incident took place on October 5 at about 9 pm, with Saha suffering minor injuries during the attack.

As per reports, the miscreants armed with a dao had no signs of forced entry into the premises of Saha before attacking him. They, however, fled quickly after attacking the businessman.

After a preliminary medical checkup, Saha was shifted to Tura Civil Hospital for further medical care.

“We are reviewing the CCTV footage and available information. Hopefully, we will crack the case soon,” said Superintendent of Police, WGH, Dr MG Kumar.
