The Kuki Students Organisation, Sadar Hills and the Kuki Inpi, Manipur have agreed to call off the six-day bandh along National Highway No. 2 and Kangpokpi district after reaching a consensus with the government.

The agreement signed between the KSO, Kuki Inpi and the Manipur Government, concluded that they will rename the National Sports University as the National Sports University, Haraothel Kangpokpi District.

The bandh that went on for two days from October 5, left many vehicles and trucks stranded on National Highway No. 2.
