Assam Rifles run COVID-19 awareness drive in Manipur

The Assam Rifles on Thursday ran the Jan Andolan Covid Awareness drive to spread awareness on COVID-19 protocols and precautions in remote villages of Manipur.

The awareness program was conducted in Joupi, Mantripukhri, Keithelmanbi and other areas of Thoubal district, and briefed the residents on the various Dos and Don’ts in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, such as the importance of wearing masks, social distancing and personal hygiene.

The battalions also carried out a sanitization drive at New Cannon village which concluded with the distribution of masks and hand sanitizers.
